Your review makes me want to read the book. I think it's cool that someone wrote a YA book about veganism, but that alone didn't convince me to check it out. I've become wary of YA, though I'm the intended audience, ha! Too often there isn't enough character development, the writing is barely mediocre, etc.
I currently have on top of my dresser a "To-be-read" book pile that is literally (not figuratively) two feet tall, but Vivian Sharpe will probably be pushed to the top. Ooh, here's an idea - if I like it, I'll suggest it to the school book club. I'll post an update after I've found time to read something other than AP textbooks (bleh!  ).
